Warmed by circulating warm water, so there's no need to worry about fires.

Ton Yu mats are rubber mat heaters which use warm water.
No worries about fires as with general gas fueled heaters. Also no worries about the short circuits caused by electrical heaters. Warm water heated by a boiler outside the pig house is circulated for warming, so no flame is used directly inside the pig house, allowing for safe use.

Are you overheating?

32 Ton Yu mats were used in the birthing area with no gas heating at all.
Even during winter the room temperature was maintained at around 20°C.

Saves energy by circulating warm water
Warm water is repeatedly circulated from the "boiler" to the "pump" to the "Ton Yu mats" and then back to the "boiler" again. Once the water temperature reaches the set temperature, temperature is maintained using only residual heat and occasional reheating which saves energy.
Ton Yu mats using a circulating oil boiler have been shown to be almost 1/3 of the cost of general gas heater heating costs.

The Ton Yu mat surface temperature can be adjusted via the warm water, so the optimal temperature for piglets can always be maintained.
